The Nepean Medical Association is an incorporated organisation that represents doctors in the Nepean area and support University of Sydney medical students studying at The Nepean Clinical School. The organisation began in the 1960’s evolving from the Nepean-Hawkesbury Medical Association to become a separate entity in the 1980’s.
The main focus of the NMA is on developing collegiality through social and charitable activities including an Annual Dinner.
The NMA have a strong association with the University of Sydney Nepean Clinical School through the Student Elective Scholarship Program, support of the annual “Welcome Dinner” and activities such as the Careers Night.
In conjunction with Medlinks, the NMA produces the annual Medical Directory, which is distributed free to all doctors in the Nepean area. Copies are available for other organisations. For more information visit: http://www.medlinks.com.au.
